Description
Perry has established herself as England’s best player over the last few seasons and broke into the top five in the world rankings in 2020.
She made her tour breakthrough in 2011 after defeating Tania Bailey in the final of the Manor Open to capture her first tour title. She collected a further three titles a year later and finished 2012 in the world’s top 30, having leapt up over 35 places in the ranking since the start of the year.
In 2018, Perry made the semi-finals of the Hong Kong Open and carried on that consistent run of form, making it to at least the quarter-finals of every event she played in the 2019-2020 season. She secured the biggest victory of her career at the 2020 CIB Black Ball Open.
Perry started 2022 with a runner-up finish at the Cleveland Classic, before quarter final appearances at the CIB Black Ball Open and the Allam British Open. The Englishwoman then reached another final, this time on home soil at the Manchester Open, before also making it into the last eight of the World Championships and the El Gouna International.
