A Strong line-up for the Open

(24.10.2013) Entries for both the Men and Women’s events of Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Hong Kong Squash Open 2013 have closed. Once again, it attracts the world top 30 players to compete for the top honours in the world’s most vibrant city. 

The world top eight include Ramy Ashour, Gregory Gaultier, James Willstrop, Nick Matthew, Karim Darwish, Mohamed El Shorbagy, Peter Barker and Amr Shabana, will strive for a place to play in the clear view glass court at Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Hong Kong Champion, Leo Au will also join the force via the wild card. 

The world top eight women’s players include Nicol David, Larua Massaro, Raneem El Weleily, Alison Waters, Joelle King, Jenny Duncalf, Low Wee Wern and Natalie Grinham, together with our local heroines Joey Chan and Annie Au have also lined up for displaying their magic-like skills in Hong Kong. With the support of the home crowd, local promising stars, Liu Tsz-ling will also gear up for the fight.

The draws for both men and women of the competition will be announced at the Press Conference that will be held next Tuesday, 29 October. Watch out for the news update on the website!
