(7.12.2013) Before the semis of Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Hong Kong Squash Open 2013 today, six celebrities play at the glass squash court at Hong Kong Cultural Centre for the Celebrity Squash Cup.
Sponsored by P.C. Woo & Co, the Celebrity Squash Cup has invited six celebrities: Mr David Mui Ying-yuen MH JP, Chairman of Hong Kong Squash and the President of Asian Squash Federation, Dr Leung Pak-yin, Chief Executive of Hospital Authority, Ms Sarah FitzGerald, fifth-time World Women’s Champion, Dr York Chow Yat-ngok, Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission, Mr Dennis Yip Chor-hong, Hong Kong Champion Horseback Trainer 2012/13 and Ms Rebecca Chiu Wing-yin, 2002 Asian Games gold medalist, in two teams for a squash match.
“It is an unforgettable experience to play in this outdoor glass court. The weather, the scenery and the atmosphere are superb. I believe it will be even more fabulous later of the day when the semis are on,” said Mr David Mui MH JP after the friendly match.
The Celebrity Squash Cup has aroused a lot public attention and attracted a full house.
