The Milwaukee Hong Kong Squash Open 2024, presented by Squash Association of Hong Kong, China and sole title sponsored by Milwaukee, will move to Edinburgh Place in Central on 5-8 December with matches to play in a specially set up glass court when the tournament reaches its quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
Fans can enjoy top class squash competition for four days in a row until the Hong Kong Open 2024 champions to be decided.
The outdoor venue will have a number of Hong Kong’s iconic buildings nearby such as the City Hall, Central Star Ferry Pier and Hong Kong Observation Wheel. A large TV display on the site will also be set up to broadcast the event live. On the final day on Sunday, a special edition ‘Mister Softee’ will give out free ice-cream for the spectators to taste one of the famous street food of Hong Kong.
Also, the Squash Association of Hong Kong, China will stage a ‘Squash Experience Day’ for the public at the Olympian City 2 Event Hall in West Kowloon on 5-8 December. There will be coaches to teach participants mini squash for them to experience the game and a Multiball LED donated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The LED can provide several tailor-made squash games to test the participants’ skills, speed and techniques and all participants will receive souvenirs. Exhibition panels will also be set up at the venue for the public to understand the development of squash in Hong Kong. Live matches of the Milwaukee Hong Kong Squash Open 2024 will also be broadcast at the venue.
