(31.08.2014) Before the finals of Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Hong Kong Squash Open 2014 today, six celebrities were invited to play inside the glass squash court at Hong Kong Park Sports Centre for the Celebrity Squash Cup.

Sponsored by P.C. Woo & Co, the Celebrity Squash Cup has invited six celebrities to be divided into two teams for a squash match. Mr David Mui Ying-yuen MH JP, Chairman of Hong Kong Squash and the President of Asian Squash Federation led the Cathay Pacific team which included his fellow Mr Norman Chan Tak-lam, GBS JP, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Mr Dennis Yip Chor-hong, Hong Kong Champion Horseback Trainer 2012/13 to play against the Sun Hung Kai Financial team included the captain Dr York Chow Yat-ngok, GBS JP, Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission and WSF Ambassador for Squash, and his teammates Mr Dennis Lam Shun-chiu, Deputy to the National People's Congress and Mr William Kuan Van-Lam, Chairman of Macau Squash Association and Vice President of East Asian Squash Federation. 

After three matches, Sun Hung Kai Financial team beat Cathay Pacific team 2:1 to triumph in this year's celebrity cup.  

"This venue is so beautiful and the new glass court is stunning,” said Mr. Dennis Yip with joy after the match. Mr. Norman Chan, GBS JP, also commented the speed of the ball was faster in the new court.
